The Investigation

Method:

Using visual and scientific methods combined with spiritual theory investigate the background to any occurring possible paranormal phenomena at this venue.

The team arrived at 4pm and introduced themselves to the tennant. Whilst having a walk around with the tennant Dave saw figure pass on the upstairs landing and move towards one of the rooms. This was not divulged until later in the evening.

It was noted that the cellar had a ingress of water and was not a viable option for all the team to investigate this part of the property.

Mike Adams from Faversham Radio joined the team just after 4pm. Mike was invited to record the evening for a podcast for the radio station.

Neil and his wife Toni then joined the team for the evening, Neil and Toni are friends with the tennant and an aquaintance of Ghost Connections going back to 2005 when the team attended their proptery for the evening.

Equipment was set up around the property, including a trigger object in the cutting room. The object was a pair of scissors which were laid on a piece of paper and drawn around. A camera was then set up to record this object for the duration of the investigation. This camera was then locked off, the door was closed and no entry to be made until a break.

The team then chose areas in the building to sit an observe the natural sounds of the building. This quite period is always done at the start of an investigation. This allows the building to settle and the natural noises of the building can then be recorded.

Dave, Ian, Neil, Toni and the tennant choose the upper level of the property.

Kim and Graham were joined by Mike in a room on the ground floor facing the main road.

All noted that this room felt significantly colder than the rest of the property, and all that had entered the room noted this and that there was an atmosphere in the room. Everyone was drawn to the far left corner.

Whilst sitting in the room two knocks were heard in the far left corner. All those present heard the knocking and the team upstairs were able to also hear this.
After some time the knocks came again. The knocking was not repetative but was happening at irregular intervals. Graham called out to the room and asked for the knocking to repeat and this did so. After this knock the room went quiet.

On the upper floor several noises were heard, none of them repeated on request.

Voices were heard by the team and whistling.

After an hour the team took a break.

During the break the scissors in the cutting room were checked for movement. There had been a movement in the scissors, approximately 4mm.
The scissors were reset within the outline of the paper and the cam corder set back to record any further movements.

During the second session Neil went to the cellar, there had been a noticable movement of a material covered door stop which is close to the cellar door.

Mike and Neil then re-entered the cellar to undertake a session.

During this time there was nothing significant to report.

The team then took a break to have something to eat.

The last session the whole team remained on the upper levels of the proptery, sited in different areas of the landing and on the stairs.

In the cutting room the scissors had moved again, the same degree of movment was noted.

The investigation went over time and the team spent 8 hours at the propety.

Results

The knocks heard were recorded on the teams equipment.

All other footage is currently under review and the page will be updated with the results.

The coldness noticed by all those present in the downstairs room could have been due to the large window facing the main road, a draft was noted by one of the team.

The knocking in the downstairs room was fully investigated, there were no loose window panes next to the knocking, the wall backed onto the stairs which was solid and no movement from people walking up and down the stairs could recreate the noises heard.

The knocking noise was described as something within the wall, the wall was checked and found to be of solid material with no cavity.

The knocking remains unexplained.

Other sounds heard during the evening could have been the natural sounds from the building.

The doorstop having been moved, there is currently no explanation for this.

The voices and whistling heard could have been from passers by on the main street.

Movement from the scissors, this could have been occured when a large vehicle passed and caused vibrations through the building, however we think this is unlikely as the room is at the back of the house and situated on a quiet no through road.

The figure Dave saw is currently unexplainable.

Conclusions

An interesting evening had by all.

There was nothing conclusive that the team could offer the tennant.

Further investigation at this site may reveal the secrets it holds.

Thanks
The team would like to thank the tennant for giving up their time to support the investigation. To Neil for arranging and to Mike at Faversham Radio for a pleasant experience.
